Tate curator Dr. Charmaine Toh studying Zenta Dzividzinska’s vintage prints
Dr. Charmaine Toh, the Senior Curator of International Art (Photography) at Tate, studied Zenta Dzividzinska’s photographs during the College Art Association’s 113th Annual Conference that took place at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City, February 12–15, 2025.
Dr. Toh has curated numerous exhibitions and is the author of the first comprehensive study of postwar Pictorial photography in Singapore, Imagining Singapore. Pictorial Photography from the 1950s to the 1970s. She is currently working on a major exhibition on the history of global Pictorialism at the Tate Modern, titled "Light and Magic. The Birth of Art Photography," scheduled to open in October 2026.
