Juris Tifentals’ painting exhibited in Bauska

Exhibition “Artists. Bauska. Iecava. Rundāle. Vecumnieki” at the Bauska Museum, July 31 - September 12, 2021. By the Window (Grandmother’s Portrait) by Juris Tifentals is included in the exhibition.

The exhibition showcases work by 50 artists who have lived and worked, or do so currently, in the Bauska region of Latvia which includes the town of Iecava where Juris Tifentals lived from the early 1970s to the late 1990s.

The exhibition was preceded by an eponymous book (Bauska: Meistars Gothards, 2020). Learn more about the book here.
